Paul is the voice behind the radio jingles for his local station RADIO LANCASHIRE hosted by popular british comedian TED ROBBINS. Its a morning show that Paul appeared on in a talent spot when the show was then hosted by another popular british comedian JIM BOWEN. Such was the audience response to his vocal closeness to elvis, Paul would be asked to come back on again but this time to be interviewed and also was asked by the producer to record jingles for the show in the style of elvis to backing tracks with different lyrics.

The next interview was to be held by the new host TED ROBBINS, who would later interview Paul on a number of occasions, including one with elvis`s personal friend and hairdresser LARRY GELLER. Ted always remembers the day he met Paul for the first time thinking oh not another elvis imposter. How wrong he was.

Paul did his interview with Ted and then came the moment of truth when he would be asked to sing live on air. Ted remembers thinking here we go now we`ll see if he`s good or not. Paul sang the 60s classic, Guitar Man and blew Ted away. After the song had finished, Ted apologised for what he had been thinking and couldn`t get over how wrong he could be.
Paul and Ted became good friends from that day on and it would be in his next interview with him that he would bring with him a man well know to the elvis world, LARRY GELLER.
Larry spoke of the time the BEATLES visited Gracelands and Ted pointed out that he was cousins with SIR PAUL McCARTNEY. After talking about elvis Ted asked Larry if he`d heard Paul sing yet and Larry replied no but I`ve heard all about him. Paul would sing live on air a song called IN YOUR ARMS which was a 60s song of elvis`s. Again Larry was blown away saying how much Paul sounded like elvis. Larry said I`ve heard a lot of elvis impersonaters over the years but Paul is EXCELLENT.
All radio recordings to be added to website soon on new audio page being worked on.
